I couldn’t agree more. This is a total let down from Gowalla.

  13. appletite said: Download “Momento” from the app store. Import ur entire Gowalla history. Use the app to create a backup. Then leave the Gowalla service and continue on your merry way with Foursquare and never worry about losing another shred of data. Problem solved.
  14. mattdoucette said: I used Gowalla for a long time for the same reasons you gave. I ultimately switched because I felt the check-in process was more lightweight in Foursquare. It’s sad to see that most of the Gowalla users I know no longer have use for it.
